The physician
performing the executive assessment will be Dr. Martin McFarlane.
He is an Internal Medicine Specialist with a special focus in Cardiac
Rehabilitation. He has been practicing in the Windsor area since July
'99. During his training at the University of Western Ontario, Dr.
McFarlane was the Chief Medical Resident and has excellent knowledge
in all branches of medicine including cardiology, respirology, gastroenterology,
nephrology, endocrinology, rheumatology, and hematology.
It should
be noted that specific women care such as PAP tests, are best provided
by the client's primary physician as long term follow up and continuity
of care is key for these issues. Prompt referrals will be made to the
appropriate women's health specialist if requested by the client.
We have
coordinated all related departments at Windsor Regional Hospital to
minimize the amount of travel a client must undertake during the assessment.
Most of the executive physical takes place within one room, eliminating
confusion and improving efficiency. Our friendly and resourceful staff
will assist each individual throughout their assessment, which can be
completed in one to one and a half hours.
Your interest
in this corporate wellness program not only benefits your employees
but it also enhances the new Windsor-Essex Cardiac Wellness Centre.
With each client we service, a portion of the physician fees will be
donated to the continual development of the Cardiac Wellness Centre.
