The Windsor - Essex Cardiac Wellness Centre Fund raises moneys for capital expenditures of a new hospital-based program that will improve the delivery of cardiac care in this region.

Our goal is to improve the quality of care for individuals with heart disease and their families as well as those who are at risk of having cardiac complications. A team of physicians, nurses, kinesiologists, dietitians, psychologists and social workers will work together to meet the individual needs of each participant. The Centre will become the hub of cardiac prevention and rehabilitation services for Essex County and form a network between all hospitals and community based cardiac education programs. This will enhance communication and knowledge for our cardiac community.
